The Beacon Harbor site consists of approx 81.6 undeveloped acres located along the west bank of the Hudson River just south of the Port of Albany. Currently zoned “Heavy Industrial” the site features approximately 2,600 feet of shoreline along the Hudson River and rail access via an Albany Port Rail spur. Current plans show over 900,000 square feet of industrial building space available with excellent flexibility to accommodate a wide variety of configurations.
The site is generally flat and is well sheltered from surrounding uses both visually and aurally. The site is located within approximately two miles of nearby major highways I-87 and I-787.
A full environmental impact statement on the site with all attendant studies was prepared and judged complete by the Town of Bethlehem for a mixed-use project. It is currently being updated to accommodate the current industrial concept
