1) THE CAPITAL INVESTMENT TAX CREDIT- is an annual credit, provided for up to twenty years, against the corporate income tax. Projects must also create a minimum of 100 jobs and invest at least $25 million in eligible capital costs. Eligible capital costs include all expenses incurred in the acquisition, construction, installation, and equipping of a project. The level of investment and the project’s Florida corporate income tax liability for the 20 years following commencement of operations determines the amount of the annual credit.
2) RENEWABLE ENERGY TECHNOLOGIES INVESTMENT CREDIT- Qualified businesses are eligible for a credit of 75% of all capital costs, operation and maintenance costs, and research and development costs for qualified projects.

Eligibility Requirements: |
1) Eligible projects are those in designated high-impact portions of the following sectors: biomedical technology, financial services, information technology, silicon technology, and transportation equipment manufacturing.
2) Project investment must be in one of the following: a) hydrogen-powered vehicles and hydrogen vehicle fueling stations in Florida, b) commercial stationary hydrogen fuel cells in Florida, and/or c) the production, storage, and distribution of biodiesel and ethanol in Florida. |
