LOCAL AGENCY MILITARY BASE RECOVERY AREA (LAMBRA): Economic development program to attract investment and employment to former military bases in the state of California. LAMBRA incentives are very similar to the Enterprise Zone incentives. Incentives include 100% Net Operating Loss carry forward for 15 years, up to $31,544 in employment incentives per employee, sales tax credits on machinery and equipment and the up front expensing of depreciable property. Unused credits may be carried forward.

| Eligibility Requirements: |
Businesses located on the closed portion of the military base are eligible to receive the tax incentives. There are eight LAMBRA areas in the state of California. |
