Description:	1. OFFICE OF CUSTOMIZED TRAINING- A matching grant through the NJ Department of Labor and Workforce Development would reimburse a company 50% of the direct costs of the training program. Helps to customize training program to each business's specific needs. 2. LITERACY/BASIC SKILLS PROGRAM- State program that provides basic skills training to qualified displaced, disadvantaged and employed workers. Literacy skills include reading comprehension, math skills, basic computer literacy, English language proficiency and work-readiness skills.
Eligibility Requirements:	1. Eligible applicants include individual employers, employer organization, labor organization, community based organization, consortium comprising one or more educational institutions and one or more individual employers that seek to address common training needs. 2. Eligible applicants include an individual NJ employer, an employer organization, labor organization, community based organization or a consortium. Businesses are eligible to receive reimbursement up to 50% of the training costs of the program.
