Description: |
1. OREGON BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT FUND: Helps businesses secure financing from banks. Maximum loan amount is $500,000 or 40% of the total cost. Fund is divided into two categories: The regular Oregon Business Development Fund provides long term gap financing and the targeted Oregon Business Development Fund provides incentives to to companies locating or expanding in a distressed area. The targeted will provide incentives for jobs saved and/or created.
2. BROWNFIELDS REDEVLOPMENT FUND: Direct loan and grant program created to help businesses and local communities evaluate, cleanup and redevelopment brownfields. Primarily a loan program. |
Eligibility Requirements: |
1. Manufacturers, processors and regionally significant tourism businesses are eligible to apply. Funds may nto be used for retail businesses, shopping centers, office and food service.
2. Eligible activities include determining if the site has been contaminated, feasibility study, plan development and site remediation. |
