Incentive Type: Cash Grants and Financing Incentives
Incentive Title: Direct Loans
Description: 1) TVA ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT INVESTMENT FUND This program provides financing for new or expanding industries. Rates and loan amounts are negotiated with TVA. 2) ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT LOAN FUND This multi-million dollar revolving loan program is for companies relocating or expanding operations. Loans can be for buildings, equipment, and infrastructure. The loan amount is dependant upon job creation and power load generated. 3) SPECIAL OPPORTUNITIES COUNTY FUND This fund is a $15 million revolving loan program targeted to the state's economically distressed counties. Loans can include buildings, equipment, and infrastructure. This loan is dependant upon location in a distressed county and job creation.
