Description:	1. THE ENTERPRISE ZONE PROGRAM encourages development through special zone incentives including hiring credits of $26,894 or more for each qualified employee hired, plus several other incentives. 2. LOCAL AGENCY MILITARY BASE RECOVERY AREAS allow for the same incentives extended to Enterprise Zones. 3. THE TARGETED TAX AREA is a program also very similar to Enterprise Zones. TTA incentives are available to companies engaged in food processing, certain manufacturing, trucking and warehousing, air transportation, transportation services, and communications and wholesale trade. 4. THE MANUFACTURER'S ENHANCEMENT AREA is an incentive offering $26,894 of more in tax credits for each qualified employee hired within the MEA area, the cities of Brawley and Calexico.
Eligibility Requirements:	1. Businesses must be located in one of 39 designated Enterprise Zones. 2. Businesses must be located in one of 3 military sites. 3. Businesses must be located in the TTA. 4. All manufacturing businesses that are engaged in those lines of business described in Codes 2011 to 3999 and located in the MEA are eligible for benefits.
