| Description: | (1) SUBSIDIZED TRAINING GRANTS Qualified businesses are eligible for training grants to meet the stated hiring needs and skill levels of the company. The grant amount and type are dependent upon the business size, its potential impact on the state economy, and the availability of other training funds. There is a company match of 1:1. (2) BLUE COLLAR TRAINING FUND: Training funds provided to deliver customized training pograms to upgrade and/or retain employees. Grants provided for current employee training, pre-employment training, basic skills training and tuition assistance. |
