| Description: |
1) QUICK RESPONSE TRAINING PROGRAM (QRT)- provides grant funding for customized training for new and expanding businesses. This grant is a first-come, first-serve program. Reimburseable expenses include instructors' salaries, course development, training manuals, materials and supplies. 2) THE INCUMBENT WORKER TRAINING PROGRAM provides grant funding for existing employee training. This grant is a first-come, first-serve program. Reimbursable training expenses include instructors'salaries, course development, training manuals and other eligible costs. |
| Eligibility Requirements: |
1) Must be an eligible business, must file a preapplication, must create new full-time, high-quality jobs. 2) Existing Floriday businesses which (a) have been in operation in Floriday for at least one year prior to application date, (b) have at tleast one full-time employee, (c) demonstrate financial viability, and (d) are current on all state tax obligations. |
