| Description: |
1. SMALL ENTERPRISE GROWTH FUND: Financing provided for small companies that demonstrate a potential for high growth and public benefit, up to $500,000 which must be matched with other financing sources.
2. MAINE TECHNOLOGY INSTITUTE (MTI): MTI will provide research and development money to companies and non-profit research organizations in any of the seven targeted technology areas. Three award programs exist providing amounts between $10,000 - $500,000. |
| Eligibility Requirements: |
1. Businesses with a distinct competitive advantage in a strong marketplace, must employ 50 or fewer or have gross sales of $5 million or less within past 12 months. Must be in targeted industries.
2. Must be in a targeted technology field, require a 1:1 cash match. |
