| Description: |
1) BASIC INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT FUND- As an incentive for job creation by new or expanding industry, local units of government offer assistance for improved infrastructure in the form of grants. The grant can not exceed $5,000 per job or $500,000 per project. The amount funded depends on the number of new, full-time jobs created.
2) INDUSTRIAL ACCESS/ROAD ACCESS FUND- This program provides funds for the construction of roads to provide access to new or expanded industrial facilities.
3) RAIL INDUSTRIAL ACCESS PROGRAM- Provides grant funding to aid in financing the cost of constructing or rehabilitating railroad access tracks required by a new or expanded businesses.
