Incentive Title: Infrastructure Grants
Description: 1. 629 ROADWAY INFRASTRUCTURE GRANTS: Cash grants to local communities to fund public infrastructure including roadways and associated sewer, water and other costs. 2. OHIO RAIL COMMISSION GRANTS: Ohio Rail Commission offers cash grants for improvement of existing or new rail lines or spurs to companies that are increasing the use of rail service and creating jobs. 3. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG): Federally funded program to assist states and municipalities with public infrastructure improvements that support business expansion and job creation.
Eligibility Requirements: 1. Funds must be used for public infrastructure projects. 2. Funds restricted to the cost of new rail lines and spurs. 3. Grants are awarded to states and municipalities. Eligible projects include manufacturing, point of destination tourism, headquarter operations and major multi-state distribution facilities. Project must benefit low to moderate income people.
