Incentive Title:	Training Grants
Description:	1) NEW JOBS TRAINING PROGRAM- Grants are available to qualified companies that have investment of more than $1 million and create at least 25 new jobs. The amount of the grant is at the discretion of the State of Virginia on a per employee basis. 2) RETRAINING PROGRAM- consulting services and funds for are provided to companies to assist in retraining their existing workforce. To be eligible for retraining funding, a company must demonstrate that it is undergoing changes in technology, product, or delivery processes. At least 10 full-time employees must be involved in the retraining. A minimum capital investment of $500,000 must be made within 12 months.
Eligibility Requirements:	Both programs require a minimum wage threshold.

Granting Authority:	State of Virginia
