WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT TRAINING FUND PROGRAM: The state of Wyoming offers training grants in three distinct areas: 1) Grants for existing positions to upgrade current skills; 2) grants for companies that are either expanding or relocating; and 3) grants for pre-hire economic development. Funds for all three grants may be used for tuition reimbursement, class fees, travel expenses, instructor's fees and continuing education costs. |
| Eligibility Requirements: |
1. All businesses must be registered with the Secretary of State and in good standing. Trainees must work 50% of the time in Wyoming. Funding is not retroactive and the grant must be approved prior to the training beginning. Business is required to pay 40% of the required training costs. There must be a direct correlation between the employee's position and the training provided.
